Oakland Unity High Student wins 2011 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing

Techbridge is pleased to share that Ana was honored at an award luncheon for young women for their computing-related achievements and interests. Twenty-five high school¬†students received the Aspirations in Computing, Bay Area Affiliate Award, presented at a luncheon at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. The Award package includes a $250 gift card, flip camera, and a day at Google. The event celebrated the girls’ achievements and provided an opportunity for the winners to network with role models from leading tech firms in the Bay Area.
We look forward to seeing what’s in store for Ana and expect that one day Ana and other Techbridge girls will be recognized for their achievements in the Computer History Museum.
