Being a Unity Tiger is more than just excelling academically. We want our students to have a well rounded education experience that includes activities outside of the classroom. To that end, we offer numerous after school programs, clubs, athletic teams, field trips, and college visits throughout the year.

Students are also encouraged to participate in enrichment programs offered by many OUHS partner organizations such as College Track, Girl’s Inc., the Oral Lee Brown Foundation program, Upward Bound, Urban Peace Movement, and others.


Unity High is part of the Bay Area Charter Schools Athletic Conference.

College Visits

From as early as their freshman year, students begin touring colleges in the Bay Area, Southern California and UC schools, and out of state.

Field Trips

Our staff regularly lead students to visit work sites to expose them to career opportunities.
