History / Social Sciences![]() I grew up in Alameda and developed an early love of history and politics. These continue to be passions of mine, along with the other things I’ve picked up along the way: guitar, travel, my wife and our twin daughters. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2003 with a degree in American Studies and I’ve been lucky enough to do some extensive traveling in Asia. I enjoy working with young people and especially like teaching the social sciences. I’ve worked as a teacher at Oakland Technical High School, where I taught World History, and at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, where I taught World History, Global Studies, Civics, and Academic Support. I’m excited to be in the classroom again this year and also serving as the Assistant Principal at Unity. |
